Rope Flow Exercise Practice

This is the underhand race and chase. There's also the overhand race and chase.

I'm going to give this a shot as I get back into jumping rope.

30 Days in the Hole

The New Year is a time for starting new habits, getting rid of bad habits, and maybe restoring old habits.

The song 30 Days in the Hole makes me think of the Doug Stanhope podcasts where he played the song to start each episode as he documented his 30 days spent in a mobile trailer trying to detox from alcohol. I'll be doing my own roughly 30 Days in the Hole as I try a new habit each month.

This month I'd doing 20 pushups each morning and adding one more each week. By the end of January I should be doing 25 pushups each morning and hopefully continuing the habit in the months to come.

When I first got separated after 23-years of marriage I was in bad shape. I had mostly given up on life but after being separated I found my will to live and started with just 10 pushups a day. I persevered and was later up to 70 pushups at a time by simply adding one pushup to my daily total each week. I quit at that point because I was bored of pushups and moved on to other exercises.

After having a major stroke in May 2023 - It's time to get back in shape and this is a start.

Next month I think I'll be adding daily journaling to my routine and I'll decide which daily habit to try to add, subtract, or restore in subsequent months.

Two days in and so far so good. Wish me luck for the remaining days of the month.
