  1. Scary: And on a federal level, I nominate the Tuskegee experiment.

Musk continues to prove that there are some (many/most?) things private enterprise can and does do better. I remain concerned, however, until that crew is here on solid ground.

  2. Agree that Tuskegee was some scary history and a never again moment for us.

Also agree that SpaceX is taking all the risks in bringing those astronauts back. If they're successful let's hope Musk gets all the praise too.

WRT the scary place, after watching video of vicious mistreatment of elderly in Nursing homes, I think I’ll pass. They cannot but fail horribly as they hire the cheapest workers, many of whom have all the human emotions found in spiders or rattlesnakes.

  4. Agreed. Just as people go into the hospital not to get well but to die people go into most nursing homes to have their life savings milked dry. Better to protect yourself and your money by staying healthy.

    1. I've had 8 surgeries and 3 invasive procedures in 3 different hospitals since 2003. NOBODY should go into a hospital without a guardian/caretaker/everything-checker. wasn't that way so much decades ago when profit objective wasn't such a large factor.
