The Obama Administration wanted higher gas prices because they reasoned people would then drive less and thus release less carbon emissions. The Biden Administration got higher gas prices simply through incompetence... In my will when I die all of my books are being donated to the Library of Congress just like Thomas Jefferson did. (Just kidding - I don't plan on ever dying)... If you argue that the Biden Administration also wanted higher gas prices to reduce carbon emissions then what about higher food prices? Did they want people to eat less? Hunger builds character? Are you really going to go with that reasoning?... The NBA and other pro sports leagues need to reverse the trend to add more and more teams to the playoffs and actually have fewer teams qualify instead. The regular season for the NBA has become a joke. Paying to attend a regular season NBA game has become a waste of money - like attending an NFL pre-season exhibition game...

I like to think that those who follow me on Twitter or read my blog would never storm the Capital. We'd storm the Library of Congress (and sit quietly and peacefully reading for hours then leave at closing time after putting our books away)... Dura lex, sed lex. Agree 100%... Happily surprised to learn that Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) is still alive. Was sure he passed away a couple of years ago and couldn't understand why he was trending on Twitter... China blocks WHO from investigating origins of Covid-19. Because they know it came from the Wuhan lab and they also know they can get away with actions like this... As the playoffs begin this weekend a reminder that Tom Brady has 30 playoff victories. That's more then two thirds of NFL franchises have had in their entire existence. When Brady is done his record number of playoff wins is a record that will never be broken... On a related note - the way my brain works I can't help but wonder if the people investigating potential election fraud are the same people the NFL hired to "investigate" Deflategate...
