Linky Links

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Jonathan Turley on Donald Trump's trials. Spoiler - he thinks Trumps wins all the cases against him.

- Ross Delinger and Dan Wetzel on Jim Harbaugh and Michigan's problems. Reminder they play Ohio State next Saturday,

- If Len Bias had lived to play for the Boston Celtics. One of the biggest "what if's" in history.

- Saddened by the loss of Dana Carvey's son.

College Football Power Rankings

Phil Steel has the updated college football Vegas Power Rankings up on his site. These would be the hypothetical point spreads between teams on a neutral field. Two things of interest jumped out at me:

  • Ohio State would be an almost 10-point favorite over Michigan on a neutral field but this year that game is AT Ohio State.
  • Boston College would be just a 2-point favorite over Buffalo but Holy Cross beat Buffalo at Buffalo this season. Does that mean a hypothetical BC/Holy Cross game this year would be a pick-em?

Go Michigan Wolverines

Normally NOT a fan of Michigan but I will be on Saturday.

Michigan will wear a special patch on its uniforms on Saturday for their game against Iowa in the Big Ten championship to honor the four high school students who were killed in a shooting outside of Detroit on Tuesday, the Wolverines announced Thursday afternoon.

The patch will feature four blue hearts, to honor each of the four Oxford High School students who were killed, and both "T M" and "42" for Tate Myre - a football player at the high school who was killed.
