Stuff I fund interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Tucker Carlson Episode 91 Israel and Christians

- Uri Berliner's Free Press on working at NPR. People at NPR are just so used to getting funded by taxes that they don't care what he says - but you should.

- Jon Haidt on the effects of social media on our youth.

- The Dalai Lama on individual happiness and success

Active Listening: The Master Key to Effective Communications.

"Listening is difficult because it involves suppressing your ego long enough to consider what is being said before you respond." Listening is a superpower but perhaps the only one that needs to be practiced.

Tuesday Flotsam and Jetsam

Have a new miscellaneous thoughts and observations post up on Substack.

UConn destroyed Purdue in the second half to win 75-60 over Purdue last night. I only learned this morning when I woke up and found out the score. Like many (I guess) I called it quits at half with the Huskies having a 36-30 lead. The women's championship Sunday had a viewership of 18.7 million. Guessing the game last night didn't reach that many (especially in the second half). As always - please Subscribe, hit the Like button, or share the Link. Thanks!

Today in History

Today is the anniversary of Robert E. Lee surrendering to Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox in 1865.  One of the most important dates in US history goes by with little or no mention and we wonder why kids today seem so uninformed.

Monday Flotsam and Jetsam

Yesterday South Carolina was clearly the better team and defeated Iowa to win the women's NCAA basketball championship. It will be interesting if the story is the same for UConn on the men's side tonight. As always - please Subscribe, hit the Like button, or share the Link. Thanks!
