Amazing to think that prior to opening its battery Gigafactory in Nevada - Tesla was using 10% of the world's batteries on the Model S. And this was before they even unveiled the Model X or Model 3. Not only is that first principles thinking that's some serious first principles action. Speaking of action - please Subscribe, hit the Like button, or share the Link. Thanks!

How Tesla EV's became a Reality

Thanks to Daimler's $50 million investment in 2009 and later government funding what was to become Tesla's Model S priced around $60,000 became a reality. Critics like to claim Tesla's success is due to huge government funding but Tesla never got TARP money. They never even applied for that government handout funding.

Tesla did get a $465 million interest bearing government loan from the Department of Energy but so did Ford, Nissan, and Fisker Automotive. Tesla repaid that loan along with $12 million in interest four years before Nissan repaid their loan while Fisker went bankrupt and Ford has not yet repaid their loan.

People will try to smear Tesla any way they can.

Daniel Patrick Moynihan: AI

Business idea - Daniel Patrick Moynihan: AI podcast. Simply have a middle age voice actor with an Irish accent read out whatever ChatGPT 4 thinks Daniel Patrick Moynihan would say on any subject based upon his volumous writings and speeches and wait for the sponsorship dollars to roll in. The subjects could be anything from immigration to the national debt. The gift that keeps on giving week in and week out.

Conversely you could do a Charlies Angels type TV show where the voice actor only appears as a speakerphone just like the mysterious Charlie did in the original show. The show could be set in a new congressman's office and the new "Angels" could be office aids. Show basically writes itself.
