So very true! Beware those who preach "for the greater good" for they are the ones who want to rule. Likewise beware those who demean the US Constitution as a document written by dead white guys because they would impose their rules on you once the Bill of Rights has been weakened or replaced.

The founding fathers were an interesting combination of intellect, courage and skills. The collective efforts of this disparate group put the country on the right path. I hope we can keep it going,
ReplyDeleteIt could be argued that the Founding Fathers were more intellectually adept and courageous than all the leaders in the country since. Though I am partial to Teddy Roosevelt's opinion that Jefferson was an awful President.
