- Saw this game. Also remember that Mike Lowell was a "salary dump" for the Marlins and thrown into the trade that netted Boston Josh Beckett.
Pedro Martinez going to Montreal from LA for DeShields was a salary dump. This scrawny bean who kept hitting batters. Lucky for him the Expos had the best pitching coaches. MLB sucks, the strike in 1994 instead of the Expos winning the pennant. I am still angry.
ReplyDeleteDon't blame you that Expos team was loaded. You couldn't throw a rock without hitting a future Hall of Famer. Pedro was the best pitcher I ever saw.
