The big news of the day was of an active shooter at the White House Correspondents Dinner and the Red Sox firing coach Alex Cora. In my opinion the WHCD "nerd prom" should be cancelled completely - it has long outlived its usefulness - and Boston owner John Henry should sell the team. Don't think I'm alone in holding these opinions.
