The other day I was struck by the lyrics to Supertramp's 1979 The Logical Song which said "watch what you say, they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, fanatical, a criminal." These appear to all be meant as slurs and insults. Negative things. The more things change the more they stay the same I guess.

my first roommate and I had between us about 7 albums. This was one of them. Boston, Supertramp, 4 Genesis and Songs from the wood. Might have heard this a hundred times.
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to have older brothers who bought albums. Growing up I was told not to use them - but they weren't always around :)
