Brett Favre turns 50 today and I'm still disappointed that the nickname "the junk mailer" never caught on... You knew this was coming - President Trump chastises the NBA, Steve Kerr and Gregg Popovitch over their failure to speak out about Chinese human rights abuses. Now if any NBA player criticizes Trump between now and the 2020 election the response will be "so this guy thinks its OK to find fault with me and America but when he had a chance to speak out about China - the coward turned and ran." The NBA has completely abandoned the moral high ground... "The most contrarian thing of all is not to oppose the crowd but to think for yourself." - Peter Thiel... Reasons to Drink would be a good name for a band... On this day in 732 Charles "the Hammer" Martel defeated the Muslims at the Battle of Tours. Many credit Martel's victory with saving Western Civilization... "The secret to being likable is to not care if people like you." - Ed Latimore...
