(Normally I would call this post "Miscellaneous Thoughts" but that's boring. Nobody Google's for "Miscellaneous Thoughts" but apparently lots of people Google for naked pictures of Lauren Jackson.)

OK let's talk about the Red Sox first. It is hard to tell who is taking more heat for the Red Sox losing 9 of the last 12 games - Terry Francona or Nomar Garciaparra. My problem with Francona is the fact that he NEVER bunts. Now I'm not a big fan of the bunt but it does have its time and place and that time and place is in the 7th, 8th or 9th inning of a tie game with the leadoff runner on first or second. That (to me) is a no brainer. Joe Torre bunts in those situations and if it's good enough for Joe Torre it damn well better be good enough for Terry Francona... You know Coach K isn't going anywhere. He pulled this same crap with the Celtics years ago with the Celtics back when Dave Gavitt was GM. Coach K is just using leverage to get a better deal at Duke... Nomar needs to go. I was probably his biggest fan but he needs to go. If this season goes down the tubes - then he leaves Boston as a villain and that's not right. Trade him now and momentum will right the ship and every time Nomar returns he'll get a standing ovation... Happy birthday to 38-year old Moises Alou... Think about this - rumors of whether Britney Spears is pregnant are rampant and reported everywhere by all walks of media and yet in our society a guy like Brian Chontosh gets little or no press coverage. No wonder people are turning to the Internet to get their news...
