Halle Berry Naked

(Normally I would call this post "Miscellaneous Thoughts" but "Miscellaneous Thoughts" is so boring - do I feel guilty for tricking the folks googling for naked pictures of Ms. Berry? Nope.)

I guess today was Tampa's day in the barrel. They got spanked 14-0 by the Blue Jays and Miguel Batista improved to 7-5 with a 3.73 ERA. The man Batista basically replaced in the Blue Jay rotation - Kelvim Escobar is 4-4 with a 3.62 ERA for the Angels (Escobar signed for 3-years $18.75 million and Batista cost $13.1 million for the same length of contract). Nice deal by JP Riccardi... Very sad - Manute Bol broke his neck in a car accident. Here's hoping that his rehab doesn't encounter any problems.... Many, many Red Sox fans are depressed at how the Red Sox have been playing (especially the last two games against the Yankees) but they still have a better record than Anaheim (who has now lost 3 games in a row) and are still a team that nobody is going to want to play in the playoffs. It's July 1st for Christ's sake. Enjoy the American Beer Month and wait till the dog days of August to get all depressed (by then this will all be forgotten)...
