Marlon Brando

Not everyone was a big fan of Marlon Brando as a person. I'll be honest - he always sorta creeped me out. He was definitely not the sort of person I would trust to be alone with my children.

There is no arguing that he was a tremendous talent but I think there would also be no arguing that his talent was for the most part squandered. He was Stanley, Don Vito, he coulda been a contender and he could have been so much more.

Now he's gone and I am reminded of the lines; "of all the words of tongue and pen, the saddest are 'it could have been.'".

Brando was Orson Wells with more debauchery and less directing. That should be his epithet.
