The Name of the Wind

Recently read The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss and I can recommend it highly. When asked to describe the book I'd say, "It's like a cross between The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter." And it is.

The book stayed with me in my head for several days after finishing it. To the point where I went back and read it a second time. If that's not a strong recommendation for a book I don't know what is.

I was given the book as a gift from my son and I'm ashamed to say it took me this long to finally get around to read it. It won't take me long to read the second book in the series, The Wise Man's Fear which I fully expect to get as a Christmas gift.
