OK so many people had an issue with some aspects of the time travel in Avengers Endgame. Not me. I had an issue with the "snap" that brought all the people back but five-years later.
Can you imagine what five-year gap did to a lot of relationships? Sure Hawkeye took out the frustration of losing his wife and kids by mercilessly killing bad guys. But the average guy who lost his wife and kids - he's been online dating for five-years and probably mercilessly having much more sex that he did during his marriage. Does he go back to his old relationship? How does he explain that he now has herpes?
What about the heartbreak of high school relationships? A couple falls in love in high school but one of them gets snapped away. Five years later one of them is probably just about to graduate college when the other is snapped back. Do they get back together? The choice there seems to come down to heartbreak for the returning one or statutory rape charges for the one who remained but is now five-years older.
These are the issues from Avengers Endgame that stick in my head.
Yes... that's what makes it great.
