Bill Buckner

Bill Buckner has passed away. Here is the statement put out by the Red Sox. I'm disappointed that they ended the tribute with a note about the play in the 86 World Series.

The people who think that Red Sox fans booed or held anything against Bill Buckner are the same ones who think that hack Dan Shaughnessy speaks for the Boston fan (nothing could be further from the truth).
