Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.
On the bright side - there no way I can lose any more money betting on the Celtics this NBA season... A cure for Lyme Disease? Faster please... Dunkin Donuts should counteract all the free advertising Starbucks got this week by hiring Tormund Giantsbane as a spokesman... This article gives a good rundown on most of the questions facing the Celtics this offseason... "Life punishes the vague wish and rewards the specific ask." - Tim Ferriss... This story is sad and uplifting at the same time. God Bless America indeed!... Thinking of changing my religious affiliation from the Flying Spaghetti Monster (blessed be his noodly appendages) to the Church of Tuukka Rask. Go Bruins!...
Us folks in central Ohio generally appreciate the fact that you did not rub our noses in the vast superiority of the Bruins over the Blue Jackets. The Church of Tuukka Rask indeed. S
ReplyDeleteThe article on Lyme disease was ridiculously poorly written, even by modern "journalism" standards. It's not a cure, not even a vaccine.
ReplyDeleteEven if the drug works as advertised, you'd have to inject it into every deer, possum, raccoon, cat, dog, mouse and human in the country for it to have good effect.
Steve I can tell you that Bruins fans were really afraid of the Blue Jackets. If the Bruins didn't have Rask Boston gets killed in that series.
ReplyDeleteMcChuck - thank you. Yes the article was by a local TV station and was cheesy. Was wondering the same thing - are they saying they want to inoculate the deer and raccoons? Supposedly veterinarians already have an effective treatment that works on dogs who get bit but hasn't been cleared for human use.
