Sad news as Gerard Van der Leun, operator of American Digest, has been placed into hospice care with inoperable cancer. Never met Gerard in person but years ago he thought
American Digest could use a sports editor and he asked me to fill that role. I was honored that Gerard valued my writing and sense of humor but we both agreed that American Digest wasn't exactly the sort of site people went to get their sports news.
May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.
