The Senate passed a resolution to reopen the government. Now it needs to get a vote in the House and then President Trump's signature. Until those things happen the government is still shut down. Have faith that will all happen but just enjoying the Democrats rightfully blaming Chuck Schumer for this disaster of a strategy with some saying he should be replaced with Bernie Sanders. These people don't know the first rule of holes do they?

I trust the rethugs will be played unmercifully by the democrats, again. You can only watch charley brown and lucy with the football so many times before you just stop caring. After "winning" the republicans are 100% certain to accept some utterly unacceptable language and funding in order to reopen government.
ReplyDeleteNot so sure - guessing someone attaches a rider that undos the bill and the reopening may be delayed. What's in it for the Republicans to cave? Everyone admits it was Chuck Schumer's shutdown at this point.
