Very Epstein client list centric today because that story is not going away and so many people are commenting on what appears to be an obvious lie. Don't piss on people's backs and tell them its raining. The Trump administration finds itself in a hole over this story - stop digging.

Tuesday Flotsam and Jetsam
Have a new miscellaneous thoughts and observations post up on Substack.
Today's offering is mostly Epstein's client list story and the Texas flood centric. Those are the two issues most Americans are concerned with right now. One was an act of God while the other was an act of the Trump administration. The question in most people's mind regarding both is "Why?"

Jeffrey Epstein's Client List
We were promised the list months ago but how we're told it doesn't even exist!
Nothing we are being told by the administration about Jeffrey Epstein makes logical sense - or rings true.
Makes you wonder if this is what they chose to throw away their credibility on - this?

The Killer Angels
"If it weren't for the slaves, there'd never have been no war, now could there?
"No," Chamberlain said.
"Well then, I don't care how much political fast-talking you hear, that's what it's all about and that's what them fellas died for, and I tell you, Lawrence, I don't understand it at all."
"No," Chamberlain said. No divine spark. Animal meat: the Killer Angels.
Finished re-reading The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara over the weekend about the Battle of Gettysburg. It's become a yearly tradition. If you've never read the book you should give it a try.

Monday Flotsam and Jetsam
Have a new miscellaneous thoughts and observations post up on Substack.
Today's the first day back to work for many after the long 4th of July weekend. That's probably for the best as the days were starting to blur together for many. Not me - I'm retired. This writing gives me discipline and structure in the morning and I normally judge the day of the week by what I have planned for the night. On Monday's I play cards are the Marine Corps League.

Sunday Flotsam and Jetsam
Have a new miscellaneous thoughts and observations post up on Substack.
I'm an Independent and truly believe in voting for a person not a party but after seeing how so many Democrats refused to cheer for a kid fighting brain cancer or speak out about the horrors of killing babies and raping young girls - I find it increasingly hard to vote for anyone with a D next to their name. And I'm not sorry I feel that way.
