- Jonathan Turley: Chief Justice Roberts needs to protect the plate.

- Kite and Key Media. Love the obscure Benjamin Franklin reference in the name. These videos are pretty good. (HT Execupundit)

- NYT puts Gavin Newsom's book on best-seller list. The beclowning of both continues.

- US National Parks Finder.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Even the NYT is calling out Adam Schiff. He's toast.

- Peter Attia on determining optimal protein intake. Bottom line - you probably need to be eating more eggs or red meat.

- Kansas City ends free bus rides experiment over budget woes. I disagree with the premise that this is proof Mamdami's proposal won't work for NYC. They are a totally different city than KC and free rides could reduce traffic congestion and save the working person from paying ridiculous rates for parking.

- Jonathan Turley: California Democrats seek to prevent voters from approving new taxes.

More stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics. Think this is a job a simple calculator could do better - just publish the raw inputs.

- From the archives: Life advice from Peter Josef Safar.

- Turns out space is big business.

- Former NYT director: paper is "digging it's own grave." They have no shame.

More stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Glenn Reynolds: When the Gods of the copybook headings smile. He's not wrong.

- Matt Taibbi: The NYT can't stop sucking. The NYT is a sewer of lies.

- Totalitarian Studies are Sorely Needed. He's not wrong either.

- Replacing Relativity with High School Trigonometry. I had trouble with trig too (never mind relativity).

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- US dollar on track for one of the worst years in modern history. "A weaker dollar could make US exports more competitive, boosting Trump's plan to rebalance US trade, but makes imports more expensive, adding to the sting of tariffs."

- Benjamin Netanyahu puts President Trump forward for Nobel Peace Prize.

- Jonathan Turley: NYT in trouble for reporting actual news to its readers.

- Neither safe nor effective. They knew all along.

USAID Sponsoring the Media?

"'Nobody voted for Elon Musk,' (They dd however vote for Donald Trump who promised repeatedly to have Elon Musk root out wasteful spending in our government.)" - Vice President JD Vance

Elon Musk is using DOGE to examine what USAID and others have been spending taxpayer money on and the reports continue to be disturbing. Now we're finding out the government has been paying different media outlets:

At least now we're starting to understand why none of these outlets ever reported on Joe Biden's increasing dementia.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- What if Trump simply walked out of the Manhattan show trial? Trump would probably surge in the polls if he did.

- Be intentional on how you spend your time off. Article a few years old but new to me.

- Going to have to remember these tips.

- NYT's Joe Kahn "The newsroom is not a safe space." Now let's see him walk the walk. (HT Steve Landry)

Chicago Trib vs NYT

Interesting comparison between the Chicago Tribune (Trib) and the New York Times (NYT). The Trib used to be wholly isolationist in the FDR and the post WW II era plus Republican while the NYT seems completely pro globalist, WEF and open borders while being a Democratic Party organ. Seeming diametrically opposites.

Additionally Colonel Robert McCormick completely viscerally hated FDR and the New Deal. Meanwhile the NYT seemingly hates Donald Trump and MAGA. Ask Senator Tom Cotton how the NYT feels about conservatives. They both filtered the news to meet their preconceived viewpoints and omitted those that did not to make sure they keep their subscribers' echo chamber alive - just 70-years apart.

The Trib called itself The World's Greatest Newspaper while the NYT's slogan is All the News Fit to Print. Arguably neither was ever true. The more things change - the more they stay the same.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

The Sports Section is Dead. "Long live the sports section." Closely resembles my own evolution on the two announcements.

- Dan Carlin has a new Substack account (well new to me). Enjoy!

- Speaking of Substack - here's Matt Taibbi of Racket News on Where Have all the Liberals Gone? Good stuff.

- Used to enjoy Anchor Brewing but understand the move. Anchor was founded in 1886 and would not be surprised if a buyer was found and the brewery moved out of San Fran.

More stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- AstraZeneca vaccine shown to increase risks of serious neurological conditions - including Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS). Yeah right - just a coincidence.

- Jonathan Turley on how the standards set forth by Mueller and FARA could be used against Hunter Biden. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

- China, Anthony Fauci, and Harvard University - the Harvard Connection. By now everyone should be aware that the pandemic came from the Wuhan lab and that all three are corrupt.

- More on the NYT disbanding its sports department. Forgot that the NYT had previously purchased The Athletic (to which I subscribe).
