If Justin Beiber made a Christmas album - I'd give it as a gift to people I hate... Murphy Brown reboot cancelled after historically low ratings. Who could have seen this coming?... Confession: I have never seen the movie A Christmas Story. Have no plans to see it this year either... "A hero is one who knows how to hang on one minute longer" - Novalis... Not sure if this was just a Massachusetts saying but when I was a kid "book it" meant to run away as in, "the cops are here - book it!" Because kids in Mass naturally run away from books maybe?... Heh Heh... Speaking of Massachusetts things - I think Hollywood should remake a bunch of John Wayne movies but with a Mike Dukakis look-alike in the lead. I would definitely pay to see The Quiet Dukakis or She Wore a Yellow Dukakis...

Dean Metropoulos - the man who saved Pabst Beer (and made $500 million in the process)...  When I read stories about "protesters" - in my mind I always change it to "polyesters". Never fails to make the story more interesting... This always blows my mind - Michael J. Fox's middle name is Andrew... Brady's better! (Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap). Brady's better! (Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap)... Quick reminder... Is there anything funnier than sending a friend into Dunkin Donuts for a large Blumpkin Spice? Heh heh - funny because it's true... If Justin Beiber made a Christmas CD - I would give it as a gift to people I hate... As far as QB comparisons are concerned - Tom Brady will always be Mary Ann to Peyton Manning's Ginger...

Today is he anniversary of the start of the Diet of Worms. This was actually a formal deliberative body in Worms, Germany assembled in 1521 to discuss Martin Luther. To most people unfamiliar with history or steeped in religious theology Diet of Worms sounds more like the title of a Stephen King short story... Cool - the New York filming locations of The Godfather - then and now... With the Yankees farm system so barren and having already broken the $189 million luxury tax threshold - you have to wonder if they will be a dumping ground for bad contracts come the July trading deadline... Interesting profile of Jay Glazer... I would like to put together a Justin Beiber cover band fronted by an Elvis impersonator. I would call the band Generic Ebola... Happy 30th birthday to Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski. Maybe the best complement is the fact that around New England nobody ever talks about missing Adam Vinatieri...

Am I the only one bothered by ESPN and others always using the term "sexual assault" when discussing Jameis Winston? He is accused of "rape". Rape! Use the frigging word... Does drinking beer make you more creative? Not sure. Does the existence of beer prove there is a God who loves us? Absolutely... Not sure if this is just a Massachusetts expression but "book it" means run away. As in "the cops came and we all booked it"... You can get away with wearing a hat like this when you are Tom Brady... This blows my mind - Michael J. Fox's middle name is Andrew... Welcome to Zombo.com. You can do anything at Zombo.com. Always puts a smile on my face... I wish the AP issued a Stylebook ruling that said any time Alex Rodriguez's name is mentioned in print - the word "churlish" must precede his name... It is amusing to see how the White House has stopped using the term "Obamacare" and now is calling it the Affordable Care Act once again.
