Going to have to disagree with this statement. Yes a therapist might say "Time's up" but you cannot be suggesting they provide an open ended schedule. Also many of those in most need of therapy may not have a clergy person, relative, or wise layperson to turn to. Or in some cases these very people may be the cause of the trauma. Never personally used a therapist or felt the need to but I do not assume others are as lucky. Depression is real and mental health issues are also real - if you feel the need for help - seek it!

The Disenlightenment - David Mamet
"Why would rational people vote to destroy their borders, their cities, their jobs, and their children? For the same reason the sick family must tolerate pedophilia rather than its revelation: the co-opted liberal electorate was terrified that any deviation would result in destruction of its protective unit. As it would." The Disenlightenment by David Mamet

The Disenlightenment - David Mamet
"A representative [Congressman] must regularly raise $50,000 to stay in office. Regularly means every day, and so a politician is a shill. He has no skill other than persuasion and has never practiced it other than in fibbing go his constituents and flattering his paymasters.
The shill at the three-card monte game is hired to pretend to win and then to 'side' with the yokels and show them how to do the same. The politician presents himself as the friend of the voter, but, elected, can only vote at the direction of his owners. He is their employee and absent their favor, has no other means of support." The Disenlightenment: Politics, Horror, and Entertainment by David Mamet.
