Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.
- Saturn's moon Titan drifting away at a rate of 4 inches a year. Our moon is drifting away from us at a rate of 1.5 inches a year.
- New SpaceX spacesuits get 5-star ratings from NASA astronauts. Part of me is sad because the previous space suits were manufactured in Worcester by the David Clark Company.
- Interesting - how the cornavirus has affected Xi Jinping's power in China. "Historically, a strongman in solid control of the military and secret police are rarely brought down by a single crisis. Instead, their authority and prestige are progressively eroded by a succession of policy errors and political missteps as doubts about their leadership grow among the ruling elites and the impact of their misrule fuels social discontent."
- The Gospel according to Peter Thiel. I find Thiel to be a fascinating person. (Hat tip Execupundit)
- Tesla is now the world's most valuable automaker. If not for Elon Musk American car manufacturers would be getting lapped by other nations. What happened? The USA used to own the car manufacturing market.

- Awesome! Allman Brother's Whipping Post played on just strings by Berkley College of Music Students
- Interesting - Jony Ive, iPhone designer, announces Apple departure. He was more than just the iPhone designer - he along with Steve Jobs created the whole iconic look and feel of pretty much all of Apple's products.
- NASA announces Dragonfly mission to Saturn's moon Titan
- Speaking of NASA and space - extraordinarily beautiful pictures of Jupiter via the Jet Propulsion Labs
- 20 cognitive biases that affect your decisions
- The sibling rivalry that burned up an $800 million oil dynasty. Insane, but true story. Long read but fascinating. About a third of the way through I started picturing the two brothers as Will Ferrell and John C Reilly

- Kiko Alonso is my new favorite (non-Patriot) NFL player
- Thanks to the "ferocity and swiftness" of "cowboy" George Bush there was no follow-up attack after 9/11. The source of this claim would be the one to know.
- The Eagles are an enigma to me. I don't like their songs but know all the lyrics. I don't like the musicians but can't get enough stories like this.
- Heh heh
- 10 Irish pub rules for proper drinking etiquette. I agree 100% with these rules.
- Why Titan might be the only habitable world in our solar system
