- A nightmare for self-driving cars and for Waymo in particular.

- VDH on conspiracies too awful to imagine.

Conspiracy theory I'm not going for. Both the X, Y, Z Affair and Fermat's last theorem involved the very same letters. Are they suggesting that John Marshall was a secret mathematician?

Monday Flotsam and Jetsam

Have a new miscellaneous thoughts and observations post up on Substack.

The Detroit Lions dominated the Minnesota Vikings 31-9 last night to end the NFL's regular season. Must say that Detroit once again looked like maybe the best team in the NFC despite the rash of injuries to its roster. On to the playoffs.

As a Patriots fan take pity on me and Subscribe, hit the Like button, or share the Link. Being a New England fans and a history buff relishing the past never seemed so appropriate.

Sunday Flotsam and Jetsam

Have a new miscellaneous thoughts and observations post up on Substack.

Today is the final Sunday of the NFL regular season and I plan on watching football. Will watch the Patriots play the Bills in Foxboro at 1:00 (look for a smaller crowd because its cold and the home team is awful) and watch the Dolphins at 4:00 because my girlfriend is a fan (and what type of guy complains about being "forced" to go to a bar with the Sunday Ticket to watch an NFL game?). Looks like neither New England or Miami will make the playoffs so this Sunday is bittersweet in a way.
