Tuesday Flotsam and Jetsam

Have a new miscellaneous thoughts and observations post up on Substack.

Think it's an important point to note that AOC slandered Donald Trump on X by calling him a "rapist" and legally may not have the protection from such an act she might have had if she did the same thing during a Congressional hearing. She could be sued for millions. Interesting story to follow.

Monday Flotsam and Jetsam

Not sure if the Democrats truly realize the extent that most of their major "names" have become national jokes. You have Gavin Newsom, AOC, Elizabeth Warren, and the list goes on and on. None of them can be taken seriously. If there's a betting opportunity to take any of the Democratic names listed to be the President in 2028 or the field - take the field because these folks are toast if they run. They make Mike Dukakis look charismatic.

Sunday Flotsam and Jetsam

Have a new miscellaneous thought and observations post up on Substack.

The Democrats policy of open borders and letting in millions of illegal aliens including thousands of trafficked children made it so overwhelming that Donald Trump couldn't possibly deport them all. But it also made it so that this story wasn't going away. Gavin Newsom protests a pot farm being raided and roughly 319 illegal immigrants arrested and 14 immigrant children saved from child labor and the media has to cover it. Oft evil shall evil mar.

The Art of Winning by Bill Belichick

"If someone uses AI to summarize this book down to three essential words, I hope they are: Don't, Commit, Penalties.

Over a twenty-year period, we led the league in the fewest personal fouls and fewest pre-snap penalties. Football is a fast game, and some penalties during a play are just going to happen. But penalties before the snap and after a whistle are totally preventable."

Started reading the book yesterday and liking it very much. Anyone who followed the Pats during Belichick's coaching knew disciple and no mental mistakes was a hallmark. The book so far sounds perfect for anyone who coaches sports or want to improve their own performance.

Saturday Flotsam and Jetsam

Now even Lex Fridman is calling for the Epstein client list to be released. If you've lost the calm, willing to see the best in people, and logical Fridman - then you're really on the wrong side of an issue. Nobody is buying the story that a client list doesn't exist and this issue isn't going away.
