Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Three authors who should be better known.

- Many a truth is said in jest.

- Tax Increment Financing (TIF) FAQ.

- Niall Ferguson on the Death of History. Think Ferguson is wrong and anti-Semitism is more on the left - look at how its become almost a plank of the DSA. Also think he's fallen into the trap of looking for history in TikTok. He should know better.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Florida AG subpoena's NFL over Rooney Rule. Not once in the article does it mention that the NFL is being sued by former Miami coach Brian Flores over the league's hiring practices.

- President Trump opens the summit in China. China buying US oil and agreeing that Iran is never to get nuclear weapons are items that will probably be agreed to. What's the stance on Taiwan may take more than a couple of days to resolve.

- VDH: The four horsemen of the new anti-Semitism.

- GoPro is considering selling the company.  Competition has put the company in a financial crunch.

- Biden's FBI secretly set up Trump to be indicted after he leaves office. Anyone who authorized Artic Frost needs to face charges.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- A Federal Judge Just Opened the Strangest Door. Trump could say he was just following a court order.

- Anti-Semitism  makes you stupid. Conversely you have to be stupid to be an antisemite. (HT Execupundit).

- The Austerity Threshold. A nation can't go broke if they have no national debt and a balanced budget.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Average lifespan of mammals.

- Analysis true! But it does make sense when you realize his press secretary makes his Tweets.

- Bari Weiss on anti-Semitism on college campuses. The problem is only growing bigger.

- Greenpeace's war on the poor. They exist solely to trick you out of your money these days. Article is from last summer but new to me.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

-  "How will we pay for this?" College leaders ask regarding the new NCAA proposal.

- VDH on how were the universities lost? Make student loans subject to existing bankruptcy laws would be a good first step to get universities to provide degrees that are actually marketable. Who's going to hire a green, antisemite Diversity major?

- Jonathan Turley on Joe Biden's " I did not have relations" with "those people" moment. The whole family is guilty as sin.

- Reportedly Columbia University has updated their logo.

Flotsam and Jetsam

Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

It could be argued that anti-Semitism is so rampant in the Democratic Party that if a Democratic Presidential candidate today called New York City "Hymie Town" that candidate would actually go up in the Democratic polls... If you watch the movie To Kill a Mockingbird backwards it is the story of a black man brought back from the dead to break up some furniture... Getting this off my chest - when it was announced Tom Cruise would play fictional character Jack Reacher there was an outcry because in the books Reacher was 6'5" while Cruise is just 5'7". Yet I don't think anyone blinked an eye at 5'10" Robert DeNiro playing real life 6'4" Frank "the Irishman" Sheeran... NSA Employee of the Month... The offseason announcement that all true Red Sox fans are waiting to hear is "Today we placed Wally the Green Monster on irrevocable waivers"... Just saying but if this point if either Oprah or the Rock decided to run for President as a Democrat then the nomination would be all but theirs for the asking - you know that's true... Love this JRR Tolkien story...
