I am. Frank Marino has the best version of Johnny B. Goode ever recorded on that album. Head East had a lot of good songs, but radio stations these days only play the most famous. It's funny, bands can release 10 or 12 albums and everybody only knows three songs they did.

ReplyDeleteOnly the best: UFO - Strangers in the Night
ReplyDeleteHave to admit that I'm not familiar with that album
ReplyDeleteFoghat - Live
ReplyDeleteHead East - Live
Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush - Live
Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous
And get off my lawn :)
Foghat and Thin Lizzy were considered. Head East only has one song that I know (Never Been Any Reason). My older brothers had those bands' albums.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of Frank Maino and Mahogany Rush. Man you must be ancient.
