- Chesterton's Fence: A Lesson in Second Order Thinking. This reminds me of one of the simple processes I learned when I first got into sales. The simple questions of what do you have now? How did you decide on the solution you have now? What do you like about what you have now? And what would you like to change about what you have now? Simple discovery questions but if you listened to the answers they usually gave you the road map to proposing the correct solution for the client's new needs.
