Ibuprofen and Tylenol

If you go to a super market chances are the items that would be out of stock or in short supply would be toilet paper, bleach, cleaning products (especially wipes), and Tylenol! How did Tylenol get to be such a hoarded product while you can still get all the Advil you want?

It is mainly due to rumors and reports (unfounded it seems) that ibuprofen (the main ingredient in Advil) could worsen COVID-19 effects.

The run on Tylenol is especially interesting given that it was not too long ago some were asking "Is Tylenol the most dangerous drug ever made?"

People are strange.

  2. Haven't heard any of the rumors; but I can't take NSAIDS because I had a bleeding ulcer. So tylenol is my go to when the arthritis gets really bad.

  3. Linda I hope you have some Tylenol around the house in case your arthritis flares up because if you go to the grocery store chances are they are sold out.
