All goalie records are now suspect for historical comparison because they eliminated ties (not to mention ballooning the schedule from 48 to 82). Every goalie from WWII until 1983 never had a shot for 'overtime wins' and for the next 20 years 'shootout wins' didn't exist. Rask got an extra 26 wins in shootouts alone, and other wins in regular OT I couldn't find a total of. Fleury, Luongo & Lundquist each has @100 extra wins from this. Because of the inflation, the best current comparative is win percentage - Ken Dryden is #1 and your Gerry Cheevers comes in at a historic # 3 https://www.statmuse.com
I'm in the crowd that would like to go back to the Bruins in the Adams Division. Don't disagree with what your saying about wins and I get confused trying to figure out what the points in the standings actually are anymore.
That said - Goals Against and Save Percentage are still good guides and Tuukka's numbers stand up very nicely against even the best of all-time.

True that, he's got a good case. FYI the player that most surprised me looking at numbers for this was Curtis Joseph.
