There is no doubt that he was the greatest player in NFL history. He may also be the first public figure to say he was retiring to spend more time with his family that you actually believed.
By announcing today Brady may be giving up on $15 million that is due to him on Friday. I would not be surprised in some arrangement has been made with the Buccaneers on that. Or perhaps Brady just looked at what he'd lose in taxes on that signing bonus payment and said it wasn't worth it.
When Tom was in New England the pic on the left was basically true. Thanks for so many great memories. May the road rise to meet you...
