Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.
- Bill Belichick is chasing the record for both all-time wins and all-time losses. My guess he gets them both as the head coach of the Patriots.
- Elon Musk sues the Watchell law firm to recoup fees from Twitter buy out. My money is on Musk.
- The Dutch PM resigns as the farmers in the Netherlands prevail. A victory for the working man.
That anyone with the level of success enjoyed by Belichick in NE could be in any danger just speaks volumes to how it is a "What Have You Done For Me Lately" league.
ReplyDeleteThink it may speak more to how the local sports talk radio and sportswriters have to come with new angles to engage the sports fans every day. What better way to get engagement than to attack Belichick? They tried similar attacks on Tom Brady about replacing him with a bevy of potential replacements over the years.
ReplyDeleteDo think the Belichick/Brady relationship did wear thin after 20-years of success. Hope Robert Kraft understands how lucky he is to have Belichick who would be unemployed for an hour if he's ever let go.
Then the airways will be alive with talk about "how dare they get rid of Belichick."
