Jokes from the Week in News

Have to look at the humorous side of the news - else you might go crazy.

  • French President Emmanuel Macron sues Candace Owen for saying his wife is a dude. Just wanted to write that.
  • Waiting for someone to write an article about Barack Obama's situation and say that "the walls are closing in." The media used to do that all the time with President Trump. Fair is fair
  • Think ESPN should have a show at night starting the day after the Super Bowl - America Held Hostage with a countdown to the first NFL pre-season game. I miss football
  • Haven't watched PBS in years (don't even know if I even get a PBS channel) but something tells me their next pledge drive may be quite desperate and unintentionally funny
  • Question that may keep you up nights: were the recent revelations that Hillary Clinton had serious health issues including "psycho-emotional problems" possibly be ruled a HIPAA violation?
  • Honest question: who do you think they'll be talking about more in 4 years - Michael Avenatti, Stormy Daniels, or Stephen Colbert?
  • Elon Musk announced the creation of Baby Grok kid friendly AI as a companion to his Grok AI. Have we gone from kids having short pants graduating to long pants to kids having a kid friendly AI graduating to adult AI?
  • Funny to remember how Joe Biden and his wife Jill literally dwarfed Jimmy Carter and wife Rosaline. My how right they were.
  • Every time I hear Zohran Mamdani or a member of the squad speak I think of the Ted Nugent quote, "You have to let the stupid people talk so we know who the stupid people are." Free speech is great for the Republicans in a number of ways.
  • If Barack Obama goes to trial and gets convicted I want him to be quoted saying, "I told you not to underestimate Biden's ability to fuck things up."
  • Kind of funny that people are talking more about Stephen Colbert now that he’s been fired than they ever talked about him or his show when it was on the air.

Jokes from the past week's news offerings.
