Sean Penn vs. Nicolas Cage

You may have seen this by now but I must say that Sean Penn is a real piece of work. An honest to God asshole. He stages a "rescue effort" that includes a personal photographer and he wears a flack jacket during the attempt as if to say "my life is in danger but I'm risking it all for the children". Only problem - he sinks his boat. What a jack-hole!

Contrast what Penn was attempting to stage vs. what Nicholas Cage did.

Oscar-winner Nicolas Cage, who has a home in New Orleans, donated $1 million Thursday to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief efforts for ravaged New Orleans, a spokeswoman said.

In his statement, his publicist, Annett Wolf, said Cage "wishes to help his neighbors during this most devastating time."

Without any fanfare - Cage donated $1 million to disaster relief. No photo op - just a check sent ASAP so that the professionals could get their work done.

Kudos to you Nick Cage.
