Interesting development - the stock slid 9% on Thursday on the news. Not surprising to those paying attention but a situation worth monitoring.
Big cable companies in mostly urban locations will be facing more and more competition from both fixed wireless and cellular companies. Interesting to note that Comcast's broadband revenue actually grew by almost 7% in the second quarter mainly due to price increases. How long can they continue to do that in the face of competition?
