Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.
- RFK Jr. on the American Academy of Pediatricians and vaccines. "First do no harm" has been replaced by "show me the money" even by doctors who treat children.
- Are utility company middlemen the villains behind higher electric bills? Not AI datacenters as reported.
- Agree 100% that security clearance is a privilege and not a right. No reason for anyone to still have clearance after leaving the job or retiring.
Viz security clearances, they expire in the normal course of time. A TS rolls down to a Secret after 5 years without a Periodic Reinvestigation and and Secret/Confidential expires in 10 years without a PR. The controlling issue is access and nobody gives any former government loser access to classified information without authorization unless they want to be fired.
