Climate and Energy Silliness
Matt Ridley reminds us how those Climate Conferences are always all hat and no cattle.
Too bad he didn't use that metaphor in the English House of Lords.
On a related note - when world leaders like Joe Biden and Boris Johnson do act it normally is a huge mistake.

- Matt Taibbi breaks down the IG Report. The FBI looks bad but the press looks even worse. Taibbi has quickly become my favorite reporter.
- Wisdom from Naval.
- The Not-To-Do List: 9 Habits to Stop Now. I'm pretty good with these but I do have to work on numbers 5 and 8.
- How to make money online.
- Sadly this story on Five Dimes founder "Tony" Creighton now has a definitive tragic ending
- Haven't been following Brexit but this ad would make me vote for Boris Johnson if I lived in England

- A visualization true size of countries and continents.
- Reason magazine gives Bernie Sanders an economics lesson. The long and short of it - we live in a time of abundance in the US.

- Interesting - is the NFL's Sunday Ticket on DirecTV illegal under anti-trust law?
- A message from Hong Kong
- Boris Johnson and the UK getting behind Gen IV nuclear power in a big way. Good for them!

- In Trump's first 30 months over 314,000 manufacturing jobs have been added in comparison to Obama's Administration. Wait - I thought we were told those jobs weren't coming back?
- I consider myself a proponent of marijuana but to ignore the possible harmful side-effects is foolish. (I also consider myself a proponent of alcohol but those negative side-effects are better understood and documented.)
- Today would have been Vera Rubin's 91st birthday. She should have won the Nobel Prize for her discovery and confirmation of the the existence of Dark Matter.
- Maybe we should skip manned missions to Mars and go to Jupiter's moon Io instead.
- Wow - is 3.6 septillion yottawatts of power a lot of power? Sounds like a lot.
- Netflix hit with class action shareholder lawsuit following dismal Q2 earnings
