Found myself worrying about the "Don't trust China! China is asshole!" guy. With the crackdown in Hong Kong I wouldn't be surprised if he was taken into custody a long time ago. I hope he's OK... The Great Certainty would be a good name for a blog (or social media app)... If lab grown meat technology is perfected - will that allow McDonald's to offer the McRib year-round?... True story - before picking Dan Quayle to be his VP - George H.W. Bush briefly considered picking Clint Eastwood to be his running mate. One of the great "What if's" of history...  You learn something new every day: the power symbol on your device, laptop, PC, etc. - that circle and line it's actually a binary 1 and a 0 with 1 being "on" and 0 being "off"... So when does Nintendo get cancelled for having a GameBoy and not a non-binary game console?... Predicting right now that no matter who is in the NBA Finals it will get the lowest TV ratings in history... Apropos of nothing - checked GameStop stock yesterday and it was at $313.75 per share! Yowza!... Bumper sticker suggestion: "Trump 2024 - Burdened with Glorious Purpose" (a little Loki humor)...

I think the best explanation for what happened at the Capital on Wednesday may be an outbreak of Mad Human Disease... Heh Heh... King William was known s William the Conqueror to his admirers and as William the Bastard to his detractors. Politics was always thus... Remember - not even once!... I would like to put together a Justin Beiber cover band fronted by an Elvis impersonator. I would call the band Generic Ebola... Valid question... I don't think I've ever eaten at a McDonald's and thought, "I'm lovin' it!" It's always been more along the lines of, "I'm going to regret this!"...

Donald Trump should award Elon Musk the Presidential Medal of Freedom for returning American astronauts to space on American rockets launched for American soil. Perhaps he's just waiting for the right moment... What the hell?!?! Did that guy just die... Someone should write a satire book Nancy Pelosi and the Echo Chamber of Secrets... Question which still hasn't been answered - if lab grown meat technology is perfected will that allow McDonald's to offer the McRib year-round?... "It is by will alone that I set my mind in motion." - Dune. Perhaps my second favorite quote from the book behind "Fear is the mind killer."... I've read all the books in the Harry Potter series a number of times each and I can tell you that not once was Biology mentioned as a class at Hogwarts....

While the world is busy watching Le Affair Lochte a British Olympian is actually robbed at gunpoint. And a real Olympics crime wave is terrifying tourists.

Things are so bad in Rio that McDonald's is no longer giving athletes unlimited food.

One of my favorite bits of baseball trivia is the fact that Tris Speaker actually had more triples (222) in his career than strikeouts (220)... Hard Hat Jesus would also be a good name for a band... Have you seen those Heineken commercials where they brag about only having three ingredients? Is one of those three ingredients urine? Sure tastes like it to me... Getting close to that time of year for me to re-read The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara. The book is a retelling of the Battle of Gettysburg. Highly recommended... True story - before picking Dan Quayle to be his VP - George H.W. Bush briefly considered picking Clint Eastwood to be his running mate... Some excellent news from the field of Alzheimer's research... If lab grown meat technology is perfected - will that allow McDonald's to offer the McRib year-round?...
