Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.
- Netanyahu blasts Macron. People often say "Never again" but their actions speak louder than their words.
- Tom Selleck upset Bluebloods cancelled after long run on CBS
- Do humans age in distinct rapid bursts instead of gradually over time?

- Interesting profile of Doug Stanhope.
- Awesome (in the literal sense) - 22 of the finalists for 2016 weather photo of the year
- The University of New Hampshire should be ashamed of itself
- Eric McErlain returns to writing on hockey. Hooray!
- Heh heh - Tom Selleck's Mustache

D-Day
Today is the 70th anniversary of D-Day. I am always reminded that Dwight Eisenhower was willing to take complete blame if things went wrong.
Tom Selleck did a very good job playing Eisenhower and the hard decisions he faced in the 2004 Ike: Countdown to D-Day.
You can actually watch that made for TV movie on YouTube.

Flotsam and Jetsam
Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.
It should be noted that the Patriots have now won 10 games in a row. The last team to beat them was actually the New York Giants... Had a dream last night that the Red Sox made a huge trade with the Marlins for Josh Johnson. I hope that dream comes true... Gov. Chris Christie calls Newt Gingrich an embarrassment to the Republican Party and I agree... So where does Rex Ryan watch the Super Bowl? No network would want him because how would he be able to answer the question of how do you beat the Patriots or the question of how to beat the Giants. Gasbag... I wonder if on the show Blue Bloods they ever show Tom Selleck and a sandwich and waterfall in the same scene. That would be a special episode... I wonder if Tiki Barber still thinks Eli Manning lacks leadership skills?... Definition of badass... So is Brian Orakpo banging the Geico cavemam? That's the takeaway I get seeing the caveman in the locker room in a cheerleader outfit... Just saw a guy with a "Will Work for Food" sign who looked just like Craig Kilborn. Pretty sure it wasn't him... I have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that the Red Sox trading both Marco Scutoro and Jed Lowrie will lead to a desperation move of switching Dustin Pedroia to shortstop. I also wouldn't be surprised if Ben Cherington's next move is to trade Mike Availes for another middle reliever.

Stuff I found interesting and thought I'd share.
- Interesting - Lloyd's of London sues Saudi Arabia over 9/11 attacks. I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't settled out of court so that Saudi Arabian leaders don't have to undergo the discovery process.
- This was funny and disturbing - what's the weirdest things you've caught hotel guests doing?
- I wasn't aware of the "Santorum" Google problem till I read this. Does it make me a bad person that I found this amusing?

Some stuff I found interesting and thought worth sharing.
Very sad story about Chad OchoCinco's biggest fan. I liked OchoCinco before reading the article but even more so after reading how he reacted to this situation.
Take a porn star to a hockey game. I think everyone has the same question after reading the ad, "What does that $500 really get you?" Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
The scale of everything. From Quantum foam to the entire universe. Very interesting visual presentation.
Selleck, waterfall, sandwich.
Interesting article on what Frank Serpico is up to now.
Great commercial.
Can the new iPad be used to play online poker? Short answer - not for sites that use Flash and not if you want to multi-table.
Interesting - the deficit based upon which party controls Congress.
