Gerald Van der Leun at American Digest has a excellent piece about where he was and what he was doing 24 years ago today - the day John Lennon was shot and killed in New York.
For the record - I can recall seeing the news from ABC but can't recall much else (including whether I was in 8th grade or a freshman in high school).
