- VDH: Murder of Charlie Kirk was not a George Floyd moment.
- Jonathan Turley: Federal Judge rules in favor of parent's rights. The pendulum is swinging back towards sanity.
- Jonathan Turley on today's political climate. Two from Turley today. Worth the read.
So RFK is not anti-vax? Really? I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here, but . . .
ReplyDeleteI was vaguely aware that RFK had a reputation as being a whacko long before his association with Trump, so I consulted grok.com as to whether he had compared childhood vaccination to a "holocaust." Here is the result:
"Yes, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) has used the term "holocaust" to describe what he claims is the harm caused by childhood vaccinations, particularly in linking them to an alleged "autism epidemic." This rhetoric dates back to at least 2013 and has been widely criticized as inflammatory and inaccurate, given extensive scientific evidence showing no causal connection between vaccines and autism."
(I realize that LLMs like Grok can and do return bogus information, but RFK's public statements are easily verifiable.)
To me it is infuriating that he's attacking not merely mRNA vaccines like COVID, but ones like the MMR shots that have saved millions of kids from childhood diseases with potentially horrible effects like deafness or even death. And he's doing it in service of the myth of a supposed link between vaccination and autism. That lie was started by a doctor who was later defrocked and has been debunked over and over . . . but "a lie can get halfway around the world before the truth can put on its shoes." As our President would say, sad!
What I hear when he speaks is “show me the science. Show me all the test results that you got when developing, testing and fielding the vaccine. Show me the diuble blind test results. Why does the Ford analysis contradict so many vaccine claims. Why do the Danes only require 10 childhood vaccines and have better numbers than us with18? Why did the CDC burn all its remaining credibility supporting bogus nonsense like the wuhan flu requirements and lie about everything?
DeleteThe inventor of the mRNA vaccine has come out against its use in humans - never mind children. Think RFK Jr. has been clear that he's against any vax that uses mercury as an ingredient - as should any parent or anyone thinking about getting a vaccine. I don't consider myself as anti-vax for holding those beliefs.
ReplyDeleteBecause I do not know what’s in them, because I don’t trust the system protecting their manufacturers, and because at age 55 (21yrs ago) I came down with Guillain Barre disease after a flu shot, you could call me anti vax. Haven’t had a shot in 21 yrs, the flu is no big deal, and covid was a fever for six hours. The cure is far worse than the disease… my two cents, and worth exactly what you’re paying for it.
ReplyDeleteSP RN
Sorry to hear of your Guillain Barre.
