There should be blue colored MAGA hats for Democrats who are sick of the "Progressive" tilt of their party... Reminder that Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez directly help cost tens of thousand of well paying jobs in her District by running off Amazon's plans for a new HQ. She's never paid a political price for that... Even though I no longer attend mass this post resonated with me for many reasons. There's a backlash coming including for the Catholic Church. The idea of a Holy Day of Obligation has gone out the window. And those who don't uphold the lessons of the Saints and Martyrs are not worth listening to...  Really like the idea of stakeholders of public companies holding management responsible for "woke" decisions that negatively effect stock picks. Get a bunch of these CEO's fired and more companies will become less likely to virtue signal at the cost of long-time investors. One can only hope... The last time I attended mass was for my brother's funeral. As a divorced man they technically don't want me and I unequivocally don't want them...

So the Super Bowl had the fewest total viewers in the past 15-years and the lowest ratings since Super Bowl III but that's nothing for TV executives to be worried about - right? My guess is next year's 30-second commercials will be sold for 30% less than this years commercials. But nothing to see here... Speaking of Super Bowl commercials - Bruce Springsteen arrested for DWI. What I want to know is what kind of car he was driving. I'd bet anything it wasn't a Jeep and better than even money that it was foreign made vehicle or brand... Wonder how enrollment in Krav Maga self-defense classes have been effected by the political atmosphere of the past few years? Have people shied away from it because they just see MAGA in the name? Or have some people signed up because they mistakenly think it is self-defense against "MAGA people?" Genius Jussie Smollett may have signed up for classes for that reason... One underrated aspect of viewership and ratings on live sporting events going down over the years is the commercials themselves. People hate commercials and most of their other TV watching experiences are now pretty much commercial free. Except live sporting events. So the casual view no longer tunes in because of the commercials...

How long before Hillary Clinton alleges that Amy Robach is a Russia asset?...  Meanwhile an important message from Dennis Rodman... I would really like to know how many people complaining about Kurt Suzuki wearing a MAGA hat at the White House also have a COEXIST bumper sticker on their car... Something I was wondering today - in what professional sports locker room do you think you'd find the most book lovers? My gut says the NHL but I guess it really depends upon the team and not the sport... I wish there was a Venn diagram of people who support #MeToo and those who still support Hillary Clinton so I could mute the people on Twitter who fall in the overlap... I think Mike Leach would make a good fit and a good hire as the next Florida State head football coach. He loves Key West, is an offensive savant and Gardner Minshew mania is going on in Jacksonville. He checks all the boxes to succeed in the State of Florida...

Interesting article/rebuttal about Why Upstate New York Feels Unwelcome in Its Own State.

New York City has the wealth and provides the entertainment not just for the rest of the State but for much of the country. What does "Upstate" New York offer? Well how about the food, the electric power and the natural beauty/resources just to start. The whole things gives off a Hunger Games feel. 

In Panem - Capital City also had the wealth and the entertainment (in the form of the Hunger Games) while the Districts each provided their own distinct contributions.Fish, electricity, coal, food, etc.

The big difference is in the fictional world Capital City had the military power while in real life - it is the residents of Upstate NY that are armed. Makes you wonder if that's a psychological underpinning of residents of Capital New York City being such ardent advocates of gun control while the Upstate residents are such "bitter clingers."

It's true in New York State and it's true in much of the rest of the country. Who knew that Suzanne Collins was such a big MAGA supporter?

The amusing thing about the Jussie Smollett hoax is now the phrase "This is MAGA country!" will be used as a punchline to make fun of the media and celebrities who fell hook line and sinker for the hoax. Their bias is worthy of much mocking... I still really want to see an Olympic ski jumping contest where all the athletes have to wear those flying squirrel suits... I would love to own a cafe with one of these machines... Just found out that Leonard Nimoy was a huge New England Patriots fan. Because of that he's now my favorite Star Wars character... See what I mean... "Gratitude is the wine of the soul. Go on. Get drunk!" - Rumi... Whenever I do yoga I say, "I have to do this more often." Whenever I drink too much I say, "I'm never doing this again." Yet somehow I find myself often drinking too much and doing yoga too little...

The Big Bang Theory should do "very special episodes" but instead of tackling social issues like shows did in the 80's they should tackle difficult science concepts like the Higgs Boson... Heh heh - it's funny because its true... Stunt Custard would be a good name for a band... If you think about it - the novel Moby Dick is an exhaustive story about an elaborate murder-suicide... Heh heh... With all this talk about flamethrowers and the zombie apocalypse has anyone considered the effect zombies could have on estate planning? I mean you could probably avoid any death taxes just by declaring your deceased loved one to be a zombie...  Saw the best MAGA T-shirt last night - Make America Grateful Again
