- CDC to drop "gold standard" COVID test: PCR risks false positives. This should be bigger news but it also begs the questions like "if a job site had to be closed down due to a false positive - is anyone liable for that?" Or "if an athlete has to withdraw from a competition due to a false positive what's their recourse?" Guessing the answer is nobody is responsible for anything so sorry better luck next time
