I forget the exact number, but I read that something like 90% of the Canadian population is within about 100 miles of the US border. I read that years ago, and I wonder if it is true.
I live more than 100km, near Edmonton, Alberta, and yes, we are by far, the most northern Large City here. almost a million. otherwise, all along the CPR line, which was plotted to keep the foul americans out ;) Manifest destiny and all.
We are getting to the point it might pass here too. Trudeau, like Biden, likes to stomp on large sections of the country he does not approve of. Not good for unity. of course, Canadians are raised on a diet of "not american" (like NZ and Australia) so it is taking time.
