  1. Alistair Sim is my favorite Scrooge as well, although the 1938 version Reginald Owen version is good, with an excellent performance by Gene Lockhart as Bob Cratchit.

  2. The Alistair Sim version has the best ending while the Patrick Stewart version is the most true to the Dickens story (almost word for word). Plus that version has McNulty as nephew Fred.

    The Albert Finney musical version is also right up there - Thank You Very Much!
