Pablo Torre reports that Kawhi Leonard has a $28 million endorsement deal for a "no show" job with a fraudulent tree-planting company supposedly funded by Los Angeles Clippers owner and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Microsoft is relevant in this situation because that's where Ballmer made all his money and he is by far the richest owner in the NBA.
Doesn't Leonard only play in the playoffs?
ReplyDeleteA school is paying a freshman quarterback 12.5 million dollars to play college ball and you think there could be shenanigans in the NBA? I'm shocked!
ReplyDeleteIt is kind of funny that because of NIL the cheating has moved from college to pro sports.
ReplyDeleteThe joke going around is that Leonard has a no-show job in the NBA too.
The entire company he's connected to is one big no-show job. All they did was shuffle tax credits. They created nothing. The staff members who started bitching in public about this are really just pissed that someone else did nothing better than them. Fuck all those guys.
ReplyDeleteThey all live in LA so in a way they are already fucked.
