Kevin Brown / Mike Mussina and 200 Wins

Kevin Brown and Mike Mussina just joined the 200 win club. Does 200 wins make them great pitchers? Does 200 wins make them Hall of Famers? Let's consider the following:

There are eight active pitchers who have 200 wins (if you count Chuck Finley). These eight are Roger Clemens, Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, Randy Johnson, Chuck Finley, David Wells, Mussina and Brown.

Four of the guys on the list have won Cy Young awards (but not Mussina or Brown).

Four of the guys on the list have at least 2 seasons with at least 20 wins (Brown has one and Mussina has zero).

Four of the guys on the list have at least 2,500 strikeouts (neither Brown or Mussina is on that list)

Just as an aside - between them Brown and Mussina are a combined 9-9 in post season play. David Wells is 10 and 3 by himself.

So to answer the original questions. Are Mussina and Brown great pitchers? Sure. Are they Hall of Famers? Let's wait a few more years on that one.

Edit: I had the post season records of Brown, Mussina and Wells wrong - so I fixed it
