Miscellaneous Thoughts

Some general observations while I have my first cup of coffee and read the morning papers...

Bad night for Boston sports fans. The Bruins get thumped, Pedro's ERA doubles, the Sox give up five runs in extra innings - yup - bad night.... They are making a movie out of the book The Da Vinci Code. Ron Howard is onboard as director.... FWIW - Javy Lopez may have got off to a hot start in Baltimore but he still only has 2 HR and 7 RBI. His replacement in Atlanta, Johnny Estrada has 1 HR but 10 RBI. Just sayin'... Pedro - five innings, seven runs - it just doesn't seem right. I know I shouldn't be concerned - he always rights himself. Randy Johnson and Mike Musina are also scuffling. Just give it time... I am confused over some of the older folks getting upset with Bob Dylan over Dylan shilling for Victoria's Secret. For God's sake - let Dylan make some coin in his old age. He's not selling out. Get a grip people... Rumors are starting to circulate that the Yankees are looking to trade Kenny Lofton. Good luck with all that...
